I really love Ski Sundown. This is the best ski area in Connecticut and where I learned to ski as a kid. When I joined the Google Business View program I knew Ski Sundown would be perfect for a virtual tour.

After a number a visits with the marketing manager and owner of this ski hill located in New Hartford, Ct and several consultations with my contact at Google, we negotiated a deal. Because of the unusual and large venue and a request from the owner to include the "Money Shot" (view from the top), special permission was sought and granted from Google. We then waited for a perfect blue sky day in late February to do the photo shoot.

The tour includes a number of positions to help first time visitors become acquainted with the facilities. They included the Ticket Windows, Welcome Center, Rental Shop, Sports Shop, Food & Lounge, Lodge Mezzanine, Lift Chairs and of course the "Money Shot", top of the mountain.

After Studio 360 Professionals published the virtual tour to Google Maps, we re-designed their website and incorporated the virtual tour throughout the site.
