Studio 360 Professionals was hired to photograph this historic church which has been a landmark in the town of Barkhamsted for almost 200 years. Completed in 1845, this church was built to replace the original meeting house, although the decision to put up a new structure was bitterly fought by a portion of the congregation. On September 10, 1879 the town's 100 year anniversary was held here on the grounds of the church with thousands attending. The celebration, called "Old Home Day" is still held annually on or near September 10. The church is now available to anyone in the world to "see inside" on Google Maps. Studio 360 also provided some professional still photography for the church. You can view the photos on the First Congregational ChurchGoogle+ page here: https://plus.google.com/102829004704061964801/about?gl=US&hl=en-US The late afternoon winter light really makes on impact on both the still photography and the virtual tour.
